Under Section 78 of the IASR, municipalities must consult with their Accessibility Advisory Committee, the public, and people with disabilities when developing accessible design features for bus stops and shelters.
Accessible taxicabs
Municipalities also have requirements relating to taxicabs. The IASR states:

Storing mobility aids
Assisting passengers
Service animals
Taxi identification must be available in an accessible format, such as large print and Braille
Municipalities must consult with their Accessibility Advisory Committee, the public, and people with disabilities to determine the proportion of on-demand accessible taxicabs required in the community.
