Ward 1: Sandhill Crane

This tall, adventurous bird loves hanging out near the water at Long Point. She’s always exploring, dancing in the shallows, and keeping an eye out for safety hazards. She’s got long legs, big wings, and even bigger ideas!

Ward 1 is made up of Frogmore, Fairground, Cultus, Walsingham, Messiah’s Corners, Port Rowan, Long Point, St. Williams, and Forestville. 

Ward 2: Grey Fox

She’s quick, clever, and super rare—just like the real grey foxes that once roamed all over Southern Ontario. She’s always ready to leap into action, solve problems, and help her neighbours. Don’t let her size fool you—she’s got serious skills!

Ward 2 is made up of Courtland, Fernlea, South Middleton, Andy’s Corners, Wynecombe, Lynedoch, Silver Hill, Langton, and Glen Meyer. 

Ward 3 – The White-Tailed Deer

Graceful and gentle, this deer is a familiar sight in Norfolk’s forests and farmlands. He’s calm under pressure, quick on his hooves, and always looking out for his herd. Whether it’s crossing roads safely or helping others, he’s got it covered.

Ward 3 is made up of Delhi, La Salette, Windham Center, Teeterville, and Vanessa. 

Ward 4 – The Spotted Salamander

This chill little guy usually lounges near ponds and under logs, but today he’s trading his beach towel for a safety vest! He’s cool, calm, and always ready to lend a hand (or a slippery foot) to keep Norfolk safe.

Ward 4 is made up of Lynnville, Rattlesnake Harbour, Nixon, Gilbertville, Bill’s Corners, Green’s Corners, Pinegrove,Walsh, Vittoria, Port Ryerse, Fishers Glen, Normandale, and Turkey Point.

Ward 5 – The Grey Squirrel

She’s fast, she’s fearless, and she’s full of energy! This Simcoe squirrel is always zipping from one task to the next, whether it’s helping with safety tips or finding the best snacks. She’s got a big heart and an even bigger to-do list.

Ward 5 is made up of the Town of Simcoe.

Ward 6 – Yellow Perch

Ahoy! This fishy fellow is a proud Port Dover perch and a captain of safety. Always wearing his sailor’s hat, he’s ready to dive into action and steer the community toward safer shores. 

Ward 6 is made up of Renton and Port Dover.

Ward 7 – Yellow Perch

She may move slowly, but she’s full of wisdom and kindness. This Waterford turtle is a rare and special part of the team. With her bright yellow chin and big smile, she’s always ready to help others and protect her pond pals.

Ward 7 is made up of Wilsonville, Boston, Bealton, Villa Nova, and Waterford.
